Magnetic Bead Separator Agitator

When speed is important or when the well volume is large the V&P Magnetic Bead Separator Agitator is the answer. Magnetic beads are separated faster and are held tighter in more compact pellets with the VP 333.

VP 333

The VP 333 works with all our V&P microplate Magnetic Bead Separation Blocks.

  • Adds mechanical agitation to the bead solution during magnetic separation.
  • Bench top and robotic work station compatible.
  • Anodized aluminum pocket holds any SBS Magnetic Bead Separation Block or microplate.
  • Power controlled by on and off switch.
  • Polycarbonate base plate with SBS dimensions.

The photos to the right illustrate Magnetic Bead Separation Block VP 771MB on the VP 333 Agitator before and after placement of a 4 well reservoir. This is just one example of a large volume well benefitting from agitation while beads are being concentrated by the Separation Block. The results of magnetic bead separation with and without the Agitator are shown in the tables below.
