The FXALP-PM mounting system solves the problem of attaching our Tumble Stirrers and Bubble Paddle Stirrers to a Beckman FX deck. The photo on the right illustrates how we made some simple modifications to a VP 710C1 and mounted it on it's side under one of our FXALP-PM plate holders for the FX and placed the VP 750-PTFE on top. An easy instillation that does not take away other plate positions. Depending upon your application a variety of other Bubble Paddle Reservoirs, microplates with Stir Elements or syringes with Stir Elements could be placed on the FXALP. Follow this link for more information. The FXALP-PM has the same "Z" height as a standard Beckman ALP system and consists of the legs and the Pocket mounting system. You can use the V&P FXALP-PMS with an existing Beckman ALP Base if you have an extra one or you can purchase an ALPFXBASE from us.

The FXALP-PMS lowers the overall height 24.4 mm from that of a standard Beckman ALP. Being able to shorten the legs is very important in applications that are "Z" limited.
One of the advantages of the FX ALP system is that it is possible to change the height of the platform very easily by just changing the length of the legs. Unfortunately Beckman is not very accommodating in providing legs of different lengths, but fortunately for you, we are very accommodating. If the 24.4 mm shorter legs we provide are not short enough for your application, just tell us your leg length or the height that you want the pipet tips to reach to and we will custom make them for your application.

The FXALP-FM Flat Mount incorporates a series of 4 threaded holes (6/32) in the flat mounting plate which is used to replace the ALP Microplate Location system. This platform can also be used to secure a VP 710C1-ALPFX Tumble Stirrer on the Beckman FX deck. |

Four counter sunk holes in the base of the VP 763 under the Bubble Paddle reservoir are used to attach the Bubble Paddle system to the FXALP-FM. This system has the advantage of being used with accessories that do not have an SBS Microplate foot print feature on the bottom.

The FXALPBASE is used to attach either of our FXALP mounting systems to the FX deck. In many cases our customers already have existing bases from Beckman. If they don't have an extra, they can order the FXALPBASE from us at a fraction of the cost Beckman charges. Just another way V&P is looking out for you. |
